Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Sharifzoda Honored for Advancing Cultural Diplomacy in Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Yusuf Sharifzoda, has been awarded the honorary title of “Distinguished Cultural Figure of the Republic of Tajikistan” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of national culture and the strengthening of international cultural relations.

The official ceremony conferring the honorary distinction was held on December 21, 2025, at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Islamabad, with the participation of Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture, Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda.

During the ceremony, speakers highlighted Ambassador Sharifzoda’s active role in advancing Tajik culture abroad, fostering cultural exchange, and deepening people-to-people ties between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
