Tashkent holds Uzbek-Czech business forum
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbek-Czech business forum was held in Tashkent on Tuesday. The event within the framework of the 9th meeting of the Uzbek-Czech intergovernmental commission was attended by the Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Josef Sikel, also responsible and officials of the ministries.
Topical issues of the potential for the implementation of investment projects in the mining industry, coal quality management systems, cooperation in the field of geological research, joint production of mining equipment, cooperation in copper processing, extraction and processing of important minerals (pegmatites), production of glass products and others were discussed at the forum.
At the end of the forum, the heads of the two ministries signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
