Tashkent Hosts Political Consultations Between Uzbekistan and Russia

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today, Tashkent served as the backdrop for significant political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia, as reported by media outlets. The high-level talks were marked by the presence of delegations led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Galuzin.
The consultations facilitated a comprehensive exchange of views on the multifaceted dynamics of Uzbekistan-Russia relations, which are underpinned by a strategic partnership and alliance spanning political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
Both delegations reviewed the progress achieved in implementing previously agreed-upon initiatives and outlined a roadmap for forthcoming joint endeavors across various levels of engagement.
The commitment of both Uzbekistan and Russia to sustaining an open and constructive dialogue within the framework of international and regional institutions was reaffirmed during the discussions.
In addition to deliberating on matters central to bilateral cooperation, the consultations addressed other pertinent issues on the bilateral agenda, underscoring the depth and breadth of the Uzbekistan-Russia partnership.
It is noteworthy that today, as part of these deliberations, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, further signaling the enduring commitment of both nations to fostering robust diplomatic ties and collaboration across a spectrum of mutual interests.
