Tashkent to host International Ballet Festival from1st March

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi will host the International Ballet Festival from 1 to 19 March 2023, organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation.

As part of its large-scale program, famous productions from different countries and ballet schools will be presented.

Among them are the ballet “The Jungle Book in a new performance” directed by Akram Khan (Great Britain), the Ballet Maurice Béjart in Lausanne (Switzerland), the performances “The Pygmalion Effect” and “Eugene Onegin” directed by the Boris Eifman Ballet Theater (Russia), as well as “Silk Road” and the national ballet “Lazgi – Dance of Soul and Love” (Uzbekistan).
