“The Cherry Orchard” and “Einstein and Margarita” plays to be stage in Tashkent

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Tashkent public will be able to see “The Cherry Orchard” based on the play of the same name by A.P. Chekhov, and “Einstein and Margarita” based on the play by Alexander Gelman “Almar”.
On October 3 at 19:00 on the stage of the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, the Moscow Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin will present the play “The Cherry Orchard”. Starring Victoria Isakova and Alexander Petrov.
Director Vladimir Mirzoyev staged Chekhov’s classic tragicomedy as a sober but not ruthless parable. The audience is waiting for a poetic and truthful picture of the collapse of human destinies against the backdrop of the empire’s decline.
On October 5 at 19:00 on the stage of the State Academic Russian Drama Theater of Uzbekistan, the independent Moscow theater ENTRACTE will present the play “Einstein and Margarita” based on the play by Alexander Gelman, based on real events. In the story about love and the atomic bomb, the leading roles will be played by Ksenia Rappoport and Alexey Serebryakov, who have met on the film set more than once, but they go on the stage together for the first time.
