The symbol of the “Gorgud Ata” Film Festival was presented to Azerbaijan in Türkiye
Bursa, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani films participating in the competition at the Second “Gorgud Ata” (Dade Gorgud) Turkish World Film Festival held in Bursa, Türkiye, were met with great interest. This was announced during the speeches at the closing ceremony of the festival.
The jury awarded People’s Artist Vagif Mustafayev with the “Best Director of the Turkish World” award. The film director was awarded this award for the film “Life, it seems, is beautiful” which participated in the competition of the festival.It should be noted that the film “Dalan” (Teymur Sahinoglu) from Azerbaijan also fought for leadership at the festival. The films “Hotel Room” were screened andawards were given to the winners in other nominations.It was announced at the ceremony that Azerbaijan will host the Third Gorgud Ata film festival.
The symbol of the festival was presented to Minister Anar Karimova. In his speech, the minister said that he wants to see all the participants at the film festival to be held in Shusha.After the official part, People’s Artist Azerin gave a concert program.
