Turkish FM Announces Türkiye’s Support for South Africa’s Genocide Case Against Israel

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has declared Türkiye’s intention to align with South Africa in its genocide case against Israel, signaling a significant diplomatic move at the International Court of Justice. Fidan made this announcement during a press conference held on Wednesday, following discussions with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his statement, Fidan underscored Türkiye’s resolve to stand in solidarity with South Africa by seeking to join its legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice. He emphasized that several countries within the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League expressed readiness to lend their support to the cause of Palestine.
