Turkish Foreign Ministry Condemns Israeli Foreign Minister's Remarks as Baseless and Slanderous

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of recent statements made by the Israeli Foreign Minister, accusing him of disseminating baseless and slanderous remarks against Türkiye and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“The Israeli foreign minister has made a habit of sharing baseless and slanderous remarks targeting our country and our President,” the statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry read. “This individual has long lost the quality of being someone to be taken seriously.”

In its statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering support for the rights of Palestinians, emphasizing, “Türkiye will continue to provide the strongest support to the Palestinians today, as it has in the past.”

The ministry also highlighted the frequent targeting of President Erdogan by Israeli officials in their statements, particularly in response to his support for Palestinians under Israeli attacks.
