Türkiye and UAE Unite in Firm Solidarity Against Terrorism

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: In a diplomatic exchange that took place through a phone call between the Presidents of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), both nations conveyed messages of resolute solidarity in the fight against terrorism. The dialogue underscores the commitment of Türkiye and the UAE to collaborate closely in addressing the global challenge of terrorism, reaffirming their shared dedication to fostering regional and international security. This diplomatic engagement reflects a strategic alliance focused on promoting stability and countering the threats posed by terrorism on a global scale.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on the phone with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE on Sunday, Türkiye’s Communications Directorate said in a statement.

During the call, Al Nahyan expressed his condolences to Erdogan for a terrorist attack in an operation zone of Türkiye in northern Iraq that killed nine Turkish soldiers.

Nine Turkish soldiers were killed in the attack by PKK terrorists in the Operation Claw-Lock zone in northern Iraq Friday.
