Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Türkiye in Azerbaijan has issued a statement marking March 31 as the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

In a social media post, the embassy expressed deep sorrow and respect for the victims of the massacres committed by Armenian Dashnaks alongside the Bolsheviks in 1918.

“On the anniversary of the horrific massacre committed by Armenian Dashnaks alongside the Bolsheviks on March 31, 1918, we solemnly honor the memory of the victims with deep sorrow and respect and pray for their souls,” the statement read.
