Türkiye Extends Condolences to Brazil Following Deadly Plane Crash in São Paulo

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Türkiye has extended its heartfelt condolences to Brazil following a tragic plane crash in the state of São Paulo, which claimed the lives of 61 people. The incident occurred on Friday, with the Turkish Foreign Ministry issuing a statement of sympathy and solidarity on Saturday.

“We are saddened to learn that 61 people have lost their lives in a plane crash in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. We extend our condolences to the people of Brazil and the families of the victims,” the statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry read.

The crash involved a plane operated by the local airline Voepass, an ATR 72 twin-engine turboprop, which was en route to São Paulo’s international airport in Guarulhos. The aircraft, carrying 57 passengers and 4 crew members, tragically went down in the city of Vinhedo.
