Türkiye Vows to Expose Israeli Disinformation in Gaza Conflict

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: In a firm commitment to unveiling disinformation and propaganda tactics employed by Israel during the conflict in Gaza, Turkish Communications Director Fahrettin Altun asserted that Türkiye will persist in exposing the truth behind the tragic events. Altun made these remarks during the 2023-2024 Evaluation and Vision Meeting on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of shedding light on the realities of the ongoing Palestinian struggle.
Addressing the audience, Altun declared, “No matter what methods the perpetrators use to conceal their brutal acts, we will bring them to the attention of the world public opinion with clarity.” He further detailed the activities undertaken by the Communications Directorate in the past year and outlined its objectives for the upcoming period.
Highlighting the significance of safeguarding the public against the perils of digital media, Altun stated, “No one is our enemy, but we are fighting a war for truth. Each of us is fighting for the Century of Türkiye to be the ‘Century of Communication’.” He underscored the crucial role played by the Directorate’s expert staff in ensuring Türkiye’s voice resonates globally, fostering international dialogues.
Altun concluded, “We convey our values, our rich history, our achievements, our political stance, our approaches to global problems, and our vision of the Century of Türkiye to the world with an integrated communication strategy.” The commitment to transparency and truth remains at the forefront of Türkiye’s communication efforts amidst the challenges posed by disinformation.
