Turkmen and Georgian Foreign Ministers Hold Talks to Deepen Bilateral Cooperation

Tbilisi, The Gulf Observer: As part of his official visit to Georgia, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks with his Georgian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a broad range of issues concerning the development of bilateral relations in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was given to enhancing cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of high-level bilateral visits and the need for regular consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The discussions also focused on expanding trade and economic cooperation. The parties identified key areas of mutual interest, including transport, trade, education, science, sports, and tourism.
Acknowledging the strong level of cultural and humanitarian interaction between Turkmenistan and Georgia, both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, including through the organization of reciprocal cultural events.
