Turkmen President Announces Severe Reprimands to Vice-Premiers
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting announced severe reprimands to some Vice-Premiers, the country’s official media reports.
The reprimands were announced to Shahym Abdrakhmanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Government overseeing the country’s oil-gas industry, Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Government in charge of the construction, industrial and energy issues, as well as the chairmen of the state concerns Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) Batyr Amanov and Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) Niyazly Niyazlyyev for improper performance of their duties.
The Head of State has warned that they will be dismissed from their post if the shortcomings are not corrected as soon as possible.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of the industrial and construction complex of Turkmenistan in the comprehensive development of national economy, the importance of strengthening and further modernization of the material-technical base of the industries.
The government meeting discussed priority issues of state affairs and considered drafts documents.
