Turkmengaz and ADNOC Discuss Gas Sector Cooperation in Video Conference
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Representatives of the State Concern Turkmengaz and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) recently held a video conference to evaluate the status and future prospects of their cooperation in the gas sector, according to a statement from the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The meeting, chaired by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE’s Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, along with the management of Turkmengaz, focused on the development of the Galkynysh gas field in Turkmenistan. The discussions also covered ADNOC’s involvement in international energy projects led by Turkmenistan.
Since 2023, ADNOC has been actively collaborating with Turkmengaz, adhering to international standards and best practices. During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue this partnership, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the legal framework and addressing the economic and technological dimensions of their cooperation.
Both sides expressed confidence in the successful advancement of their joint projects and anticipated reaching new milestones in the gas sector.
