Turkmenistan and Italy Strengthen Educational Collaboration
Rome, The Gulf Observer: A significant meeting took place at the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research of the Italian Republic in Rome, fostering collaboration between Turkmenistan and Italy in the realm of education. Ambassador Toili Komekov of Turkmenistan met with Lamberto Maria Moruzzi, the diplomatic adviser to the Minister for Universities and Research of Italy.
The discussions centered on the progress of agreements established during the visit of Turkmenistan’s President to Italy in November 2019. The implementation of provisions outlined in Memoranda of Cooperation signed between universities in both countries was thoroughly examined.
The parties explored opportunities for knowledge exchange and training Turkmen students across various disciplines in Italian universities. Notably, Italian internships were extended as invitations for Turkmen students studying the Italian language.
The meeting concluded with mutual affirmation of commitment to maintaining an active and fruitful dialogue, emphasizing the ongoing development and deepening of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic. This collaborative effort reflects the shared dedication to enhancing educational ties and fostering mutual understanding between the two nations.
