Turkmenistan and Russia Strengthen Humanitarian Cooperation for Children’s Welfare

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, met with Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, during her visit to Turkmenistan for the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children.”

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation, emphasizing the vital role of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation in strengthening traditional ties of friendship and providing humanitarian aid worldwide. Special recognition was given to the Foundation’s assistance to children affected by the natural disaster in Russia’s Primorsky Krai.

Inna Svyatenko commended the significant contributions of the Charitable Foundation, acknowledging its impact not only in the region but globally. She expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to exchange views on the Foundation’s large-scale humanitarian efforts and reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to further strengthening collaboration in child welfare and humanitarian initiatives.
