Turkmenistan Hosts International Conference on Peace and Child Welfare in Arkadag

Arkadag, The Gulf Observer: The city of Arkadag hosted an international conference titled “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Interests of Children” on March 29, 2025. The event marked the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
The conference brought together government officials, public organization representatives, and international delegates from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, India, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, Austria, and various international organizations, as reported by the News Hub Consultants.
The foundation, established under the initiative of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty and National Leader of the Turkmen people, plays a vital role in promoting child welfare and development. This milestone coincides with the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Turkmenistan remains committed to nurturing a healthy, educated, and morally strong young generation. The country has invested in modern kindergartens, schools, and recreational facilities, ensuring a comprehensive education and well-being for children. Protecting maternal and child health remains a key priority of state policy, with the Charity Fund serving as a testament to the nation’s dedication to humanitarian values and the well-being of its future generations.
