Turkmenistan Participates in 77th Session of World Health Assembly in Geneva

Geneva, The Gulf Observer: A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Myrat Mammedov, Minister of Health and Medical Industry, participated in the 77th session of the World Health Assembly (WHA) held under the motto “Everything for health, health for all,” according to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
In his address, Minister Mammedov highlighted Turkmenistan’s commitment to maintaining the health of its population and ensuring equal access to quality medical care for all citizens.
The session’s agenda covers a wide range of pressing health issues, including universal health coverage, prevention of non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, implementation of the 2030 Immunization Action Program, ensuring effective health protection during emergencies, and addressing social, economic, and environmental factors affecting health protection.
The 77th World Health Assembly will continue its proceedings until June 1, 2024.
