Turkmenistan to Mark World Health Day with Nationwide Celebrations, Focus on Active Lifestyles

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, announced that the country will widely celebrate World Health Day, underscoring the government’s continued emphasis on sports development and the promotion of active lifestyles.
Speaking at a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, the President highlighted that fostering a healthy society remains a national priority, with significant attention being given to physical activity and public well-being.
According to official media, Berdimuhamedov extended warm congratulations to members of the Cabinet and the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of World Health Day. In return, meeting participants conveyed their greetings to the President as well as to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
The Cabinet session also reviewed the country’s socio-economic performance during the first quarter of the year, summarizing key achievements and progress across various sectors.
In addition, participants discussed a number of important issues related to state affairs, with relevant decisions adopted during the meeting.
