Turkmenistan’s National Leader Urges Acceleration in Arkadag’s Second-Stage Development

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: In an official meeting convened in the city of Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, voiced discontent with the sluggish pace of construction work in the second stage of the new city’s development, as reported by the Turkmen media.

The meeting, attended by D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, and Sh. Durdylyev, the Hyakim of the city of Arkadag, focused on crucial issues related to ensuring high-quality construction and adherence to project timelines.

D. Orazov provided an update on the ongoing work and outlined the progress in preparing projects for new facilities. However, the National Leader expressed dissatisfaction with the construction’s delay and voiced concerns regarding the organizational activities of D. Orazov in this regard.

Berdimuhamedov underscored the importance of prioritizing both the environmental conditions of Arkadag and the timely completion of construction projects. He emphasized the need for strict compliance with relevant regulations and the enhancement of surrounding areas of the buildings, highlighting these tasks as vital components of the ongoing construction efforts.
