UAE and OECD Discuss Strengthening Economic and Trade Relations
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs of the UAE, met with Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), to discuss the ongoing and future cooperation between the UAE and the OECD.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the existing relations between the UAE and the OECD, highlighting the positive outcomes of their collaborations, particularly in the areas of tax criteria and reforms.
Al Hajeri and Cormann also explored opportunities to enhance future cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. Their discussions aimed at building on the strong foundation of the current partnership to drive further economic and trade development.
This meeting underscores the UAE’s commitment to engaging with international organizations like the OECD to foster sustainable economic growth and implement effective policy reforms.
