UAE and Pakistan Discuss Strengthening Financial Cooperation During High-Level Meeting in Dubai

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: H.E. Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a meeting with H.E. Bilal Azhar Kayani, Minister of State for Finance and Railways and Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to explore avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation in financial sectors.

The meeting, held at the UAE Ministry of Finance Offices in Dubai, focused on enhancing collaboration in key areas such as fiscal policy, public revenue management, and sustainable institutional partnerships. Both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise to promote financial stability and advance comprehensive development in line with their respective national priorities.

Minister Al Hussaini commended the enduring economic and financial ties between the UAE and Pakistan, highlighting that broadening channels of financial cooperation with Pakistan aligns with the UAE’s strategic objectives of supporting regional economic stability and fostering sustainable development through effective partnerships.

He further noted that strengthening fiscal performance and improving resource sustainability in both countries will contribute significantly to addressing current global economic challenges.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continued dialogue and coordination, underscoring the importance of sustained cooperation in the financial sector to achieve shared goals and long-term prosperity.
