UAE, Canada Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Trade Agreement

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, to discuss bilateral cooperation and ways to further strengthen relations in support of the two countries’ shared interests.
During the call, the two sides underscored the importance of advancing efforts to conclude a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Canada, highlighting its potential to enhance trade, investment and economic cooperation.
The ministers also reviewed current regional developments and exchanged views on a range of related issues of mutual concern.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed praised the strong relations between the two friendly countries and reaffirmed their shared commitment to building productive partnerships across various sectors, aimed at supporting development objectives and bringing greater prosperity to both peoples.
