UAE Dispatches Largest Aid Ship to Date for Gaza Relief Efforts

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the United Arab Emirates on Sunday dispatched its eighth aid ship, Khalifa, from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi to El Arish Port in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Carrying 7,166 tonnes of urgent humanitarian aid, Khalifa marks the largest relief vessel sent by the UAE to date in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The shipment includes 4,372 tonnes of food supplies, 1,433 tonnes of shelter materials, 860 tonnes of medical supplies, and 501 tonnes of health-related items.

This latest consignment brings the total volume of aid provided by the UAE to Gaza to 77,266 tonnes, reaffirming the country’s steadfast commitment to humanitarian principles and its active role in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the ongoing crisis.

The initiative, executed in cooperation with various UAE charitable and humanitarian institutions, reflects the nation’s dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and promoting regional stability through sustained aid and relief operations.
