UAE, France Review Strategic Partnership and Regional Developments in Paris

Paris, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met with Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, during his working visit to Paris.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the longstanding strategic relations between the UAE and France and explored avenues to further enhance cooperation across various fields. Discussions reflected the depth of the partnership between the two friendly countries and their shared commitment to expanding collaboration in the coming period.
Sheikh Abdullah and Barrot also discussed several regional and international issues of mutual concern. They exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East, including the serious escalation following Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other fraternal and friendly countries.
The ministers underscored the importance of intensifying international efforts to support peaceful solution pathways and to strengthen regional and global security and stability.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasised that UAE-French relations represent a distinguished model of strategic partnership built on constructive and fruitful cooperation. He noted that the coming period offers promising opportunities to advance collaboration, particularly in priority sectors of strategic importance.
The meeting was attended by Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State; Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability; and Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France.
