UAE Launches Emergency Sewage Network Repair Project in Gaza

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: As part of its ongoing humanitarian initiative, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced an urgent project to repair sewage networks in various areas of the Khan Yunis Municipality, Gaza, on Saturday. This project is designed to address the pressing humanitarian needs of Gazans amidst a complete collapse of infrastructure.

State officials highlighted that the initiative focuses on repairing the severely damaged sewage and water networks in Gaza, aiming to mitigate environmental disasters and improve living conditions for the residents of Khan Yunis. They also praised the UAE’s swift actions in providing essential water supplies to affected areas.

Dr. Alaa Al-Bata, Mayor of Khan Yunis, expressed gratitude for the UAE’s humanitarian efforts, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He acknowledged the UAE as one of the first nations to offer support and relief to the Palestinian people in Gaza and emphasized its continued commitment to aiding the residents of the Strip.

This project is part of a broader series of UAE initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of the ongoing disaster in Gaza and fostering stability within the affected Palestinian community.
