UAE Parliamentary Division Participates in 39th Extraordinary Conference of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva
Geneva, The Gulf Observer: The UAE Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC), led by Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the UAE Parliamentary Division to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), took part in the 39th Extraordinary Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, held today in Geneva, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the 151st IPU Assembly.
The high-level conference brought together speakers of Arab parliaments and heads of parliamentary delegations to discuss pressing regional developments and issues of common concern.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the Arab position on recent developments related to the Palestinian cause, reaffirming their collective support for the rights of the Palestinian people and strongly condemning the ongoing violations against them.
The conference concluded with the adoption of a final statement underscoring the importance of strengthening unified Arab stances and enhancing parliamentary cooperation in addressing regional and international challenges.
The UAE delegation to the conference also included several members of the Federal National Council.
