UAE President confers Medal of Independence on Ambassador of Barbados

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: In a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored Gabriel Abed, Ambassador of the Republic of Barbados to the United Arab Emirates, with the prestigious First-Class Medal of Independence. The ceremony marked the conclusion of Ambassador Abed’s tenure in the country.
The award was presented by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, who highlighted the UAE’s commitment to fortifying bilateral ties with Barbados across various sectors.
