UAE President, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Security

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in Abu Dhabi, where both sides reaffirmed strong bilateral ties and discussed key regional developments.

During the meeting, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, along with his wishes for the continued security and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates. In response, the UAE President asked that his greetings be conveyed to the Emir of Kuwait, expressing his wishes for further growth and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.

The discussions focused on the fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait, with both sides exploring avenues to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors in a manner that serves their shared interests and benefits their peoples.

Regional developments and their implications for security and stability were also high on the agenda. The two sides reviewed the evolving situation in the region, including concerns over ongoing attacks targeting the UAE, Kuwait, and other countries, particularly those affecting civilians and critical infrastructure. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding national security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while ensuring the safety of their populations.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with other ministers and advisors.

At the conclusion of his visit, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah departed the UAE, where he was seen off by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and several senior officials, marking the end of a visit that underscored the deep-rooted partnership between the two Gulf nations.
