UAE President Meets Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today with His Excellency Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, who is currently on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, particularly in the developmental, economic, commercial, and investment sectors. Discussions aligned with the development priorities of both nations and their shared aspirations for sustained growth and prosperity.
His Highness extended warm congratulations to President Umaro Sissoco Embaló ahead of Guinea-Bissau’s upcoming Independence Day, expressing his heartfelt wishes for the country’s continued progress and prosperity.
Both leaders reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding opportunities for collaboration that would benefit both countries and their peoples. The meeting highlighted the UAE’s desire to build stronger ties with Guinea-Bissau and promote shared growth through strategic partnerships.
Also in attendance at the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State.
