UAE President Receives King of Malaysia in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday welcomed His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, King of Malaysia, who is on a several-day working visit to the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting took place at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, where His Highness warmly received the Malaysian monarch and welcomed him to what he described as his second home, the UAE. The two leaders exchanged cordial remarks reflecting the depth and strength of the longstanding ties between their countries.

They conveyed their mutual wishes for continued progress and prosperity for both nations and for further growth and development in UAE–Malaysia relations.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Sultan Ibrahim discussed bilateral cooperation in a range of fields that support sustainable development in both countries and contribute to the wellbeing of their peoples.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, along with UAE ministers and senior officials.
