UAE President, UK Prime Minister Discuss Regional Security Amid Escalating Tensions

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on Sunday to discuss the latest regional developments amid the escalating military situation and its implications for security and stability.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Starmer reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and strongly condemned what he described as blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region.
Starmer said such actions represent a violation of the sovereignty of regional states and pose a serious threat to security and stability across the Middle East.
The British prime minister also expressed appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the attention given by the UAE authorities to British nationals residing in the country and for ensuring their safety during the current exceptional circumstances.
For his part, the UAE president thanked the United Kingdom for its supportive stance toward the UAE during the ongoing tensions.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of halting the escalation and preventing the conflict from widening, stressing the need for efforts aimed at preserving regional security and stability.
