Lima, The Gulf Observer: Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, visited Peru’s capital, Lima, to represent His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, at the 2024 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week. The UAE’s participation as a Guest of Honour at this high-level multilateral event highlights the strength of the UAE-Peru bilateral relationship and underscores the UAE’s role as a reliable partner in multilateral forums.

Al Hashimy’s visit marks a significant opportunity for further cooperation between the UAE and APEC economies, including Peru, to drive innovation, digital transformation, and global sustainability.
