UAE Reaffirms Unwavering Commitment to Gaza Relief Amid Escalating Humanitarian Crisis

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, has underscored the critical and unprecedented nature of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, reaffirming the UAE’s steadfast commitment to delivering life-saving assistance to the Palestinian people.
In a statement shared on his official account on the social media platform “X” today, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah declared, “We will continue delivering relief support to those most in need — by land, air, and sea,” while announcing the immediate resumption of airdrop operations to bolster humanitarian aid delivery.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that the UAE remains at the forefront of international relief efforts, tirelessly working to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza. He reiterated that the UAE’s humanitarian support is driven by a firm resolve and a long-standing dedication to the Palestinian cause.
These remarks come as the UAE intensifies its ongoing humanitarian initiatives, which include the provision of urgent relief and medical aid across multiple channels. The country has established air and sea bridges to expedite aid delivery since the onset of the crisis.
Among these efforts is the UAE’s “Birds of Goodness” operation, a large-scale mission involving dozens of humanitarian airdrops over Gaza. This initiative has significantly expanded the reach of food, medical supplies, and essential relief materials to affected communities in the besieged territory.
The UAE continues to lead as a regional and global humanitarian actor, demonstrating its unwavering support for the Palestinian people during one of the most dire crises in recent memory.
