UAE to Host 2024 FEI General Assembly in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The UAE will host the 2024 International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) General Assembly meeting from November 10th to 13th in Abu Dhabi. This event will see the participation of heads of federations from 137 countries.
The announcement came following the FEI’s unanimous approval of the UAE’s bid to host the 2024 General Assembly. This decision underscores the UAE’s reputation for excellence in organizing international events.
Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, highlighted the critical support from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Al Raisi noted that this support enhances the UAE’s leadership in organizing and hosting international events and tournaments to the highest standards, thereby solidifying its global standing.
“We are proud of the International Federation’s confidence in our ability to host the next meeting and its commitment to cooperating with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation in supporting various programs and events,” said Al Raisi.
He further assured that the Federation’s Board of Directors would ensure all necessary arrangements and equipment are provided through the organizational committees to guarantee the meeting’s success in line with best practices.
