UAE, Türkiye Presidents Call for Immediate De-escalation Amid Regional Tensions

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call today from His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, during which the two leaders discussed the ongoing military escalation in the region and its serious implications for regional security and stability.
During the call, President Erdoğan reaffirmed his country’s rejection of the Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the United Arab Emirates and a number of other countries. He stressed that the continuation of military escalation would further intensify tensions and expose regional security to grave risks.
Both leaders underscored the urgent need for an immediate halt to military actions and emphasized the importance of resolving regional issues through dialogue and diplomatic channels.
They also reaffirmed their shared commitment to safeguarding regional stability and preventing further deterioration of the security situation through constructive engagement and cooperation.
