UAE, Uzbekistan Review Strategic Partnership During Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday received Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across a range of key sectors, including trade, investment, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
The discussions also covered key issues on the agenda of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 and its role as a global platform for promoting international cooperation and advancing sustainability initiatives worldwide.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah praised the steady growth of relations between the UAE and Uzbekistan, underscoring the shared commitment of both countries to deepening friendship and cooperation in areas that support development priorities and sustainable economic prosperity.
In addition, the two sides exchanged views on current regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
