Al Asayl Exhibition's first edition ends

Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The first edition of “Al Asayl Exhibition 2022” has come to a conclusion, after attracting more than 1,500 visitors.

Organized by the Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the three-day exhibition concluded on Saturday at Expo Al Dhaid. It brought together over 25 companies and recognized equestrian and falconry brands, as well as a number of relevant public clubs and associations.

With its very first edition, the event provided a perfect gathering place for horse, camel and gaming bird owners, breeders, stables, clubs, vets, professional and amateur riders.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said that Al Asayel exhibition has achieved great success thanks to the Expo Centre Sharjah’s ongoing efforts to advance the exhibition and conference industry in the central region and enhance its competitiveness.

“Through Al Asayl, we have been looking forward to strengthening the hunting and equestrian industries and fulfilling the needs of Sharjah’s residents, visitors, and traditional sports enthusiasts, while also promoting cultural heritage,” Al Midfa said.

The festival has also served as a vital platform to promote traditional sports and revive genuine Emirati traditions and customs through a series of activities and educational workshops that clarified the techniques for taking care of horses, camels, and falcons.

Underscoring the importance of the fair, numerous companies that took part in the show emphasized that they had successfully promoted their products and made significant sales. They lauded the well-organization of the exhibition, affirming their commitment to taking part in future editions.
