Yangon, The Gulf Observer: The Union-Level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition at Tabaung Ground concluded successfully yesterday, marking the final day of the event with a significant influx of visitors. The exhibition, held in commemoration of the 78th Union Day, attracted employees from ministries, families, students, local residents from across the country, and MSME entrepreneurs.

Officials at various booths provided detailed explanations and answered questions about local products to visitors from different regions and states, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. Due to the overwhelming turnout, several local products were completely sold out.

Similarly, product showrooms of the manufacturing cooperative societies, the Ministry of Industry, the Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC), the Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Company Limited, and the Myanmar Oil Millers Association offered food products and consumer goods at special prices. These offers drew large crowds, leading to brisk sales throughout the day.

Ethnic food stalls showcasing traditional delicacies from various regions and states also witnessed high demand, with many items selling out quickly due to their affordability. Additionally, the Ministry of Commerce distributed rice, oil, and chickpeas daily, with long queues of festival-goers lining up to receive these essential goods on the final day.

Beyond commerce, MSME entrepreneurs actively sought opportunities to connect with both domestic and international markets, attract investments, and utilize one-stop services from relevant ministries for business development.

As the exhibition came to a close, a cultural performance by artistes from MRTV and the Department of Fine Arts captivated attendees. Visitors, both individually and in groups, enjoyed an evening of popular songs, contributing to a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

The successful conclusion of the Union-Level MSME Product Exhibition underscored the growing interest in MSME development, local products, and cultural heritage, further strengthening national unity and economic collaboration.
