US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Germany condemns assassination attempt on Imran Khan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: United States has condemned the assassination attempt on former prime minister Imran Khan and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the attack, the White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said.
“The United States strongly condemns the attack on Imran Khan and his supporters, and hopes for the swift recovery of all who were injured. Violence has no place in politics. We call on all parties to remain peaceful and refrain from violence,” Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has also condemned the attack on the PTI Long March. In a statement, Antony Blinken expressed good wishes for Imran Khan and other injured. “Violence, harassment and intimidation should be avoided, he added.
All parties should remain peaceful. Violence has no place in politics.
The British Secretary of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, James Cleverly, said in a condemnatory statement that the attack on Imran Khan in Pakistan is surprising. “One person was killed in the attack. My best wishes are with all the victims. There is no room for violence in politics.”
British High Commissioner Dr. Christian Turner also retweeted James Cleverley’s tweet. Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned the assassination attack on former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In a statement by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter, it was said that it strongly condemns the assassination attack on former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands side by side in the threats to the security, stability and development of the Pakistani people.
World leaders including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British MP Nazshah, German Ambassador to Pakistan have condemned the attack and prayed for Imran Khan’s speedy recovery.
