Uzbek FM receives Secretary General of OTS

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has received the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

“Pleased to meet H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, today at the MFA of Uzbekistan”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. “We had a productive discussion on effective cooperation with all member states, reviewed the implementation of the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan at the OTS, as well as priorities ahead”.

As previously reported, the organization’s chairmanship passed to Uzbekistan at the OTS Summit in Samarkand on November 11, 2022.
