Uzbekistan and Abu Dhabi Strengthen Cultural and Tourism Cooperation
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism. This significant agreement paves the way for deeper collaboration between the two nations, building on their rich historical and cultural heritage.
The MoU encompasses a wide range of initiatives, including the organization of joint exhibitions in museums in both Uzbekistan and Abu Dhabi. It also sets the framework for research collaborations on cultural heritage, as well as the exchange of expertise in the preservation of cultural assets and the museum sector.
In addition to these efforts, the agreement highlights the importance of educational projects, particularly in the restoration of cultural sites. Following the signing of the memorandum, officials were appointed to coordinate activities in these areas, with further online meetings scheduled to determine the next steps in this multifaceted partnership.
