Uzbekistan: Arrangements finalised for Constitutional Referendum
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The entire Uzbek nation is fully prepared for the Constitutional Referendum being held tomorrow (Sunday ).
All the eligible voters particularly the youth is anxiously wating to exercise its voting right for the speedy progress and development of the country.
In this connection, not only the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan has undertook all the necessary arrangements for the conduct of the referendum but all the other relevant departments like Information Technology, Interior Ministry etc. have adopted comprehensive measures in this regard.
Regular press briefings are being held to inform the media persons as well as the observers about the arrangements.
In his media briefing the Deputy Minister for Information Technology Maxsudov Jamal Tilloyevich acquainted the media persons about the measures taken for the uninterrupted internet services to facilitate the voters as well as the polling staff throughout the country.
It merits to mention here that a large number of Observers as well as journalists from different countries and organisations have already arrived to monitor and cover the referendum.
A delegation of senior journalists from Pakistan is also in Tashkent to do the needful.
