Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan sign MoU in field of cybersecurity
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of cybersecurity on Thursday, according to media reports.
According to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan, the purpose of the memorandum is to develop mutual cooperation, efforts and effective use of technical, financial and human resources to prepare response measures in case of serious incidents in the field of cybersecurity.
The scope of cooperation also includes the exchange of information on cybersecurity threats, malware and indicators of cybersecurity threats, the organization of joint events in the work of computer incident response services, the holding of bilateral meetings and other events to exchange ideas, information and experience.
It should be noted that the memorandum was signed by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan and the State Institution in the field of cybersecurity of Uzbekistan.
