Uzbekistan, Belarus discuss prospects for cooperation in education
Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The delegation of Uzbekistan, which is on an official visit to Belarus, led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, met with the Minister of Education of Belarus Andrei Ivanets and the Rector of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, Aliaksandr Zhuk.
According to the upper chamber of the Parliament, during the conversation, attention was paid to the current state and prospects for cooperation between the two countries in education.
In particular, views were exchanged on such issues as training the teaching staff, the joint development of a methodology for organizing the educational process, the implementation of research projects, and the development of inclusive education.
It was emphasized that the academic exchange of students and professors of higher education institutions is one of the effective methods of cooperation.
The BSPU Rector said that he intends to establish cooperation with the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on implementing joint projects to strengthen cooperation in education and science further.
