Uzbekistan – Belarus Educational Forum takes place in Minsk

Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Uzbekistan – Belarus Educational Forum took place in Minsk. A delegation from Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute (BETI) participated in the event.

The Rector of the Institute, Sadokat Siddikova, signed an agreement with five higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus, providing for the exchange of experience and teachers, researchers, undergraduates, and students for conducting academic research, organizing scientific research, internships, conferences, and other events.

An agreement was signed between Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute and the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) on the creation, at BETI, of a joint research and production center for biomedical engineering, preparation and implementation of scientific and technical projects, carrying out scientific work commissioned by the Institute, and introduction to the educational process results of joint research, creation of a branch of the BNTU Technopark at BETI.

An agreement was also reached on further enhancing cooperation between higher education institutions and organizations based on the exchange of experience in training young teachers, attracting professors and teachers from abroad to the educational process of Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute, and holding scientific and methodological conferences, forums, symposiums and workshops.

The 12th Forum of Engineering and Technological Universities of the CIS Countries was also held in Minsk.

As part of the forum, views were exchanged on creating engineering schools and increasing the interest of young people in this sphere.

An excursion to the Technology Park of the Belarusian National Technical University was organized.

BETI Rector Sadokat Siddikova met with students from Uzbekistan studying in this country based on a joint educational program of the two universities.
