Uzbekistan Exports Over 23,400 Tons of Apricots Worth $18.8 Million in First Seven Months of 2025

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan exported more than 23,400 tons of apricots valued at $18.8 million to 14 countries between January and July 2025, according to official trade data.
The bulk of the exports were destined for Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) nations, with Russia leading the market by importing 17,111 tons. Kazakhstan ranked second with 4,256 tons, followed by Kyrgyzstan (1,249 tons), Ukraine (305 tons), and Belarus (218 tons).
Outside the CIS, Uzbek apricots reached several international destinations, including Iraq (142 tons), Azerbaijan (40 tons), and Poland (39 tons). Other global markets collectively accounted for an additional 86 tons.
Uzbekistan is recognized as one of Central Asia’s leading producers of stone fruits. Its apricots, prized for their distinct flavor and quality, remain among the country’s most sought-after seasonal exports, continuing to strengthen its agricultural trade profile.
