Uzbekistan – Japan Business Forum in Tashkent Strengthens Bilateral Ties
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Japanese New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) recently highlighted the Uzbekistan – Japan Business Forum held in Tashkent, providing comprehensive insights into the collaborative efforts between the two nations. The event witnessed the participation of nearly 200 prominent companies operating across various sectors such as information technology, energy, digital transformation, healthcare, agriculture, electrical engineering, medicine, and pharmaceuticals.
The Uzbekistan – Japan Business Forum served as a platform for fostering partnerships and exploring mutually beneficial opportunities. Key figures present at the event included Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Ryosuke Kozuki, the State Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan. Both leaders emphasized the pivotal role of trust between the heads of state as a crucial factor in advancing bilateral relations.
The forum facilitated the signing of 14 significant agreements, covering various areas of cooperation. These agreements spanned sectors such as education, information technology, alternative energy, medicine, and space technologies, including geodesy and cartography. The diversity of the agreements underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen collaboration across multiple fields, fostering economic growth and technological exchange.
