Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss inter-parliamentary relations
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismailov met with members of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov.
Members of the delegation were informed about the priority tasks identified in the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy, large-scale reforms being implemented in the country, and the main areas of activity of the Legislative Chamber.
The parties discussed enhancing inter-parliamentary collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, enriching it with new content, and exchanging experience in rule-making.
Mr. Yerlan Koshanov noted that further enhancing and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation is an essential factor in developing bilateral relations, and intensifying dialogue in this direction is beneficial in all aspects.
